FAQs
Some answers to our Frequently Asked Questions:
Where are you located?

1045 5th Ave, Charleston, SC 29407. We're off St. Andrews Blvd in West Ashley, a primarily residential area. Look for our sign on the gate to the right side of the road. Parking is available right in front of the studio. If the lot is full, you can park in the Taco Bell lot accessible off St. Andrews Blvd.
What should I wear?

Comfortable, form-fitting clothes that cover the backs of your knees and armpits. Avoid lotions, jewelry, and anything with zippers. This protects your skin from the apparatus and protects our apparatus from wear.
What fitness level do I need to start aerial?

You do not need a pull-up, upper body strength, or to already be "in shape" to start. Many students use aerial as an alternative way to stay healthy and fit outside the gym, building strength over time through safe, supportive instruction. Aerial can be hard on your body, so always tell your instructor about any current or ongoing injuries.
What apparatuses do you teach?

Do you offer private lessons?

Yes. We offer private and semi-private lessons (2-3 students) in aerial silks, sling, lyra, partner acrobatics, aerial yoga, trapeze, and rope. Available at a time convenient to you and open to children (ages 8+) and adults. Email outonalimbcircus@gmail.com to schedule.
Are classes for adults or children?

Regular scheduled classes are adults only (16+). We offer a 12-week youth program each Spring and Fall for ages 8-15, plus youth Circus Summer Camp every July. Private lessons are available anytime for both children and adults.
Can I book the studio for a party or event?

Yes. Our party package is $100 studio rental + $40 per participant (6 min, 12 max) for birthdays, bachelorettes, and team building. Two hours of private access with hands-on instruction on two apparatuses. Email outonalimbcircus@gmail.com to book.
