What you will Experience
Where you will stay
You will stay at Anamaya, a boutique retreat center and transformational health resort, in one of the world’s most beautiful and charming beach towns – Montezuma, Costa Rica. Anamaya means “good health” in Sanskrit, a place to de-stress, and rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul.
The resort’s amenities include a gorgeous infinity pool and jacuzzi, two yoga decks, and spa. A short hike from the grounds takes you to a breathtaking waterfall. The resort is surrounded by the Costa Rican jungle and incredible wildlife; you might see monkeys, iguanas, and jewel-bright birds and butterflies!
All organic gourmet meals are included with this retreat. The Anamaya kitchen provides a fixed menu offering different breakfasts, lunches & dinners each day and can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or a full raw diet. Almost all their food is local and organic, with some ingredients sourced directly from the resort’s own farm.

Flights and Transportation
You are responsible for your own airfare to the Cobano Airport, and we will take it from there!
For the fastest and most direct route, fly into San Jose (SJO) then take a short 40 minute direct flight to Cobano Airport with the domestic Airlines Sansa or Green Airways. Note: the domestic terminal is short walk outside of the main airport.
Please refer directly to each airline’s website to make your booking and also make sure you check their luggage allowance to see if it matches your packing needs, the Cobano airport is a 20-25 minute drive to Anamaya, we will arrange a taxi to pick you up and bring you to the resort.
Travel Insurance
We highly recommend you obtain travel insurance for your trip. In the event that you are unable to attend due to, for example, injuries, bad weather closing airports, passport issues, etc., travel insurance can often reimburse you for your expenses including the cost of your retreat. We recommend using trusted providers such as Allianz or Travelguard.
